Get to Know Our Team – May Spotlight

Over the course of this year, we are highlighting the incredible team members that make us who we are as Beyer Brown. In the past few years, we have expanded and embraced the idea of working remotely, and hiring in many different areas. As such, over half of our team is located outside of Orlando! We wanted to help put faces to names, and showcase our team and all the areas where they work! If you haven’t had a chance to meet our team members we highlighted so far, check out our posts for January, February, March, and April! In our fifth monthly Get to Know us series, we’re highlighting four Beyer Brownies with some bite-size facts about them.

For the month of May, we are highlighting Raini Wagner, Shannon Skelton, Erin Webber, and Najmeh Guillot.

Raini Wagner

What’s your favorite hobby?
Anything outside with my kids, going to the park, beach, amusement parks.

Where is your dream place to visit you haven’t seen yet?
Mykonos, Greece

What has been one of your favorite projects you have worked on?
Any of the Senior Living Projects (Clear Lake Assisted Living, Autumn Green, Wyndham Court). My favorite project design is Alfond Inn.

Do you have a favorite memory at Beyer Brown?
There are so many. Hard to be exact. I would say I always enjoy the Christmas events and BDNY/Trade shows.

What do you like most about working at Beyer Brown, or in this industry in general?
I love the company culture. As well as the teamwork and the opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.

Springhill Suites/Courtyard Amelia Island

Do you have a favorite memory at Beyer Brown?
Meeting Shawn and other members of the team for the first time (after working with Beyer Brown for almost 2 years) in the old office.

What do you like most about working at Beyer Brown, or in this industry in general?
Beyer Brown is the only company I have worked for that treats employees as equals. I have felt supported with difficult clients/projects. They ensure we have a good work/life balance and go above to make the remote team members feel connected to the local team!

Do you have a favorite memory at Beyer Brown?
The ropes and zip line course from our Christmas party in 2023! I had just started at Beyer Brown and really did not know anyone. I also am insanely scared of heights so the activity was a huge challenge for me. I was in a group of people that included Jennifer Chesek and she was just so encouraging throughout the course reminding me that I could make it through and to keep going. It was a really fun afternoon!

What do you like most about working at Beyer Brown, or in this industry in general?
I have worked in quite a few industries prior to landing in FF&E Procurement and couldn’t be happier. I love watching the visions and designs come to life. I also love the relationships that we develop working with the team of ownership groups, designers, and vendors. It really is truly a team effort to get to the finish line of a project!
